Doesn’t work within temperature range listed on packaging.

This adhesive started out being the greatest thing in the world. The only problem is, that only lasted for about 4 days for the application I needed it for. All I needed the tape for was to hold a small 1 ounce circular disk to my car dashboard so I could mount my GPS unit to it. Total weight of GPS and holder is 1.2 pounds, well under the 2 pound limit of the tape. But any time the weather got too cold (below 40) or too hot (above 70), the disc simply fell off of the dashboard. The tape clearly states that it works in temperatures of 0-180.

I have tried multiple times to get this to work, but it simply fails each time. Two smooth surfaces cleaned with alcohol and the strips applied as instructed, but it never holds for more than a few days. I have even tried doubling up the tap and that didn’t do the trick either. Maybe I need someting that’s truly permanent instead of permanent and removeable.

Still giving this a 3-star rating because it surely works fine for other small applications, but it most certainly doesn’t work when temperature ranges are involved.

Bought because of the infomercial……..

I got suckered in when I saw the infomercial on tv for UGlu

I thought wow, this stuff will work for just about everything and there could be so many things I could use it on around the house or whatever…

Well, I was wrong….

I followed the directions…

Just to test it out I tried UGlu on 2 pieces of plastic…
did not hold, it was sticking but with NO EFFORT the pieces came apart.

I then tried it on my floorboards in a room… the boards were redone and thought it would be a nice way to put them back on…
But that didnt hold either.

On the infomercial you see the guy putting several different types of materials together and being able to hold it up…
brick, wood, platic, metal, iron….
I tried nothing compared to what he did on the commercial and I followed directions and it was a waste of money to me.
I did read other reviews before I purchased as well, that helped me make my decision on actually buying it and needless to say I am not pleased with this product

Buyer Beware!!

I saw the infomercial/commercial and thought it was a neat idea. I went on-line and ordered. I even upgraded my size of order. BANG, it charged my credit card without showing me the shipping. Shipping was just under $66 for the 3 items. YEOW! I called and tried to cancel the order and was told it could not be canceled for 48 hours! By that time, it will be posted on my credit card! I notified my credit card company and can’t stop payment until it shows up. I would think it would be illegal to charge a credit card without first identifying the total amount???? BUYER BEWARE!!
