5 Pack Delta 31 063 1 X 30 100 Grit
Also known as Lag Bolts, Lag Screws come in longer lengths than wood screws and are easy to tighten with a wrench.
Steels are indicated by a 4 number SAE Steel grade. The initial two digits indicate the indispensable materials applied to form the steel. The last 2 digits tell apart the portion of carbon for the alloy (in hundredths). The steel employed in these fasteners has a tensile strength ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 psi (pounds per square inch). Zinc Plating helps to prevent corrosion.
Hex head fasteners may be driven with simple wrenches, and require minimal clearance above the fastener because they may be driven or loosened from the side.

They broke off while screwing into pre-drilled holes in wood. By S. Gotthardt I got these to put up a shelf on my wall. I pre-drilled the holes and started to screw them in by hand. Two went in OK, but the third broke outside the wall. I unscrewed it with a wrench – that was a piece of work. I drilled it out further and tried again with a new screw – it broke too, but inside the wall. If you are using these for something softer than wood, they might work. Good luck.
